Peoria Civic Center Launches New Mobile App

PEORIA- There's a new way to know what's going on at the Peoria Civic Center, and it's all on your smart phone.
The center launched a new mobile app. Customers no longer have to go to the box office or go online to buy tickets. That can be done on the mobile app.
It even features the latest news on upcoming events.
"People love convenience. When we first started selling tickets online they said it would never work. Seventy percent of all of our ticket sales were sold online. So we may be ramping that figure up even more, via the smart phone," said Marc Burnett, marketing director at Peoria Civic Center.
Anyone with a smart phone can download the app. And it's free.
