PEORIA--Does salt or ice melt faster?
Are child proof containers really "child-proof"
These are all questions that might deserve some figuring out.
Luckily, the kids at Peoria's Quest Charter Academy are doing it for us.
Tonight was the school's second annual science fair.
More than 35 projects were on display from fingerprint patterns to the impact of propellers on windmills.
And more students are putting those thinking caps on, the participation almost doubled from last year.
"We would like to double the number every year. We want to see more students involved. Every single student who participated in the science fair last year, they were the first ones who want to do it this year," says Principal Engin Blackstone.
The top 20 projects from tonight's fair will have the chance to participate in the concept schools science and engineering fair in Ohio next month.
