Perhaps the Peoria Chiefs would like to play all their games on the road. The Chiefs couldnt hold a 4-run lead losing to Kane County 6-4 Monday night. Their record at home slips to 1-4.
Andrew Lopez had a 2-run single and Wellington Castillo belted a 2-run homer in the first inning to give the Chiefs a 4-0 lead. It was all downhill from there.
Larry Cobb knocked in three runs and led Kane County to six unanswered tallies. The Chiefs (9-7) had two runners on base with nobody out but failed to score in the seventh. They left the bases loaded.
The two teams play again Tuesday night at 6:30 at OBrien Field.
