Bradley guard Jeremy Crouch had knee surgery in the middle of the season. Now he faces shoulder surgery in the offseason. Crouch, who led the nation in 3-point shooting percentage this past season, will undergo surgery to repair a dislocated left shoulder.
The junior from Pekin suffered the injury during an individual workout Tuesday while diving for a loose ball. Crouch is expected to have the surgery in the next few days and coach Jim Les says he expects to have his sharpshooter ready for the start of the 2007-08 season this fall. Crouch missed eight games last season with a sprained knee which required surgery in January.
Les also announced guard Jeremy Fears will not return to BU for next season. According to a statement released by the university, Fears is "dealing with a family matter at home and has been encouraged to attend to those matters." After he transfered from Ohio University, Fears redshirted the 2006-07 season.
