Washington Teen Fails to Show for Court

A Washington teenager, indicted after escaping from the East Peoria police headquarters while being questioned about a burglary, failed to show up for court Monday and a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to court officials. 18 year old Dakota Bucher is charged with burglary and escape. Police say Bucher escaped from an interview room after being arrested in connection with a series of car burglaries. Police claim he forced open a window and kicked out a screen to flee June 17. Bucher, who is free on bond, has already pleaded NOT GUILTY to the charges.
