ISU Women Thrash Eastern in Home Opener

WMBD/WYZZ-TV - NORMAL, Ill. -- Candace Sykes scored 14 points off the bench to lead Illinois State to an 84-53 win over Eastern Illinois i the 2010-11 home opener at Redbird Arena Thursday.
In the 31-point victory over the Panthers, six Redbirds (2-0) recorded nine points and 12 ISU players scored overall.Hannah Spanich and Katie Broadway recorded 10 points each with Shala Jackson, Emily Hanley and Alexis Jenkins adding nine points each.
