SPRINGFILD - Illinois will get more than 100-million dollars in federal stimulus money to improve broadband access across the state.
Governor Pat Quinn said he expects the funds will create about 600 new jobs spread across four projects.
The state kicked in about 38-million dollars in capital money to help secure the federal funds.
Quinn says the projects will bring high speed internet to more than a thousand schools, hospitals and other public facilities.
