Route 9 Project Tazewell County

The Illinois Department of Transportation and the Tazewell County Highway Department say, weather permitting, construction will begin on Route 9 west of Tremont Monday April 26th. The project will install turn lanes at the entrance to the Tazewell County complex. Construction is expected to be completed by about the first week of July. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures as the project progresses.
