Peoria Celebrates National Public Works Week

WMBD/WYZZ - PERIA -- School children will get an up close and personal introduction to some of the equipment used by the Peoria Public Works Department.It's all part of National Public Works Week, which recognizes the men and women who work to provide city services and maintain infrastructure.
Public works crews will visit several schools Monday with some of the equipment they use on the job. The city is also hosting an open house on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. to showcase some of the equipment.
