Bloomington Mom to Pay One Million Dollars

A Bloomington mom was ordered Wednesday to pay a million dollars restitution in connection with an accident which critically injured a 15 year old boy. 39 year old Stephanie Uzueta pleaded guilty Wednesday to child endangerment and received one day in jail. That charge stems from an accident last year in which Uzuetas daughter was driving without a license when the boy was accidentally run over by her car, leaving him confined to a wheelchair. The million dollar restitution is to help cover medical and other expenses for the injured boy.
