Lawmakers Hear Out Veterans Concerns

WMBD/WYZZ TV – PEORIA -- Local officials are taking action for veterans living in Central Illinois. Director of Veterans Affairs, Dan Grant, and State Representative Jehan Gordon met today with several local vets to listen to their concerns. Veterans say one of the biggest burdens they face are the long drives to VA clinics. Veterans say they want a centralized VA clinic in Springfield. Illinois Director of Veterans Affairs says he'll look into it.
