Peorian Dies from Gunshot Wounds

A bizarre ending to a Tuesday night shooting which leaves a man dead and his girlfriend wounded. Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll says 25 year old Ronald Marchand died Friday afternoon , three days after he apparently shot himself in the head at his Villa Bordeau apartment . Police believe the same bullet also struck Marchands girlfriend in the leg. While police believe the shooting was self inflicted, the official cause of death will be determined by a Peoria County Coroners inquest at a later date. Coroner Ingersoll says Marchand was an organ donor.
