Job Fair at Northwoods

WMBD/WYZZ TV – PEORIA -- Unemployed? Well there's a way you can avoid ending up in a stack of resumes. Wednesday there will be a job fair at Northwoods Mall from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Employment experts say it's important to get face to face contact with people who may be hiring.

Workforce Development is putting on the fair in hopes of helping the growing number of unemployed people. 45 companies will be there ranging from insurance to health care.

More than one-thousand people are expected to attend tomorrow's fair. Colleges will also be there to assist people with making a resume, or updating an old one.
