WMBD/WYZZ TV – PEORIA -- A computer worm set to wreak havoc on April Fool’s Day is no laughing matter, and local technicians are standing by. The computer worm called Conficker has already infected millions of PC's. Nerds on Call say they've already caught the virus on business and residential computers here in the area. The worm could cause infections, clog networks with traffic, or bring down websites. Nerds on call say the key to protecting yourself is updated anti-virus software and programs.
