WMBD/WYZZ— Bloomington— The Bloomington Police Department takes cash, loaded weapons and more than $60,000 worth of marijuana off the streets. They arrested 57-year-old Jerry Stahl Thursday night. He is charged with manufacturing, delivering, and possession of cannabis and unlawful use or possession of weapons by a felon. Police raided Stahl's home at 604 East Olive Street around 8 p.m. Thursday night seizing 20 pounds of marijuana, five handguns, a rifle and more than $21,000 in cash. Police also confiscated several thousand rounds of ammo and a gas mask. Bloomington officials say the drugs and weapons they seized could have potentially prevented serious harm from happening to the community. Stahl faces up to 30-years in prison. Bond is set at $200,000.
