WMBD/WYZZ TV - BLOOMINGTON -- Friends of accused kidnapper Michael Connolly are pleading for the safe return of his two sons, who have been missing since Sunday.
Bernadin Charles begged for the safe return of Duncan and Jack at the news conference.
Charles says Connolly is like a brother to him, but he hasn't been able to sleep since his friend and the kids went missing. Not only did he tell Connolly to call him he put out this plea--
"Please, please, Michael, so I can go back to sleep, bring the kids home, drop them some where that someone can pick them up, please Michael do that for me."
Meanwhile, Leroy Elementary School is keeping Duncan and Jack in their thoughts and prayers. They decorated the boy's desks with messages saying 'I love you,' 'miss you,' and 'come home safely.' Counseling is being offered to the students, and letters have also gone home to parents.
