University knows how hard job hunting can be on students.
But in today's economic slump it's opening its job fairs to the public.
The Annual Social Service and Government Career Fair allows 300 students, alumni, and job-hunters alike to rub elbows with 69 human service employers.
Some employers include the Boys and Girls Club,
the Tri-County Urban League and local law enforcement.
Despite the fierce competition, those looking
for work say they have what it takes to land
a solid gig.
Bradley
Sophomore Jennifer Madon said, “If there's something that I want you have to go
for it, and fight for it and doesn't really matter so I’m going to see what I
can do, see what I can get.”
“You have to have confidence, you can't let
some of the more dismal news get you down, you have to remain optimistic,” said
Bradley Senior, Michael Hangarter.
