Suspicious Death at McLean Co. Rest Stop

WMBD/WYZZ - McLEAN CO. - A man is found shot and killed in a vehicle at a McLean County rest stop. 31 year old Jerimie L. Hoppe of Elgin was found dead in a vehicle at the Funks Grove Rest Area on I-55 South at 9:20 Tuesday morning. Hoppe, himself, had a warrant for First Degree Murder for his arrest. Toxicology reports have been ordered. The Illinois State Police, Elgin Police Department and the McLean County Coroner's Officer are all investigating the death.
