Correctional Officer Arrested for Misconduct

WMBD/WYZZ - PEORIA CO. - The Peoria County Sheriff's Office has arrested 29 year old Correctional Officer Joseph Cabell.
Sheriff Michael McCoy says the arrest has to do with an incident that happened while Cabell was guarding a prisoner away from the jail. Cabell has been a Correctional Officer since 2007 and he did resign Tuesday from Peoria County Sheriff's Office. No formal charges have yet been filed.
