WMBD/WYZZ— Bloomington— The Bloomington Planning Commission is putting a halt to the proposed zoning laws. Concerned business owners along Main Street in the Twin Cities joined the Planning Commission meeting Wednesday night. The commission decided not to take further action until February. People are concerned new form-based codes will dictate how people run their businesses. Local officials say the zoning codes are being proposed to improve the Main Street Corridor. They will be grandfathered in and will regulate things like parking, building size, and signage.
