WMBD/WYZZ TV – WASHINGTON -- Ray LaHood's confirmation for the Transportation Secretary has been postponed. He was supposed to be confirmed this afternoon, but it was pushed off. LaHood's representative says the US Senate Commerce Committee needed more paperwork from LaHood before they could make the appointment. Delays also happen because there are so many appointments being made at once. LaHood's representative predicts that LaHood's appointment will go through without any issues.
