Bradley AD: Creighton Exit Leads to 'Opportunity'

WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEORIA, Ill. -- Perception became reality Wednesday when Creighton did the expected.
The Bluejays announced it is leaving the Missouri Valley Conference to join the new-look Big East Conference. Creighton will officially exit the MVC on June 30.
That leaves the Valley with nine schools and some big decisions.
"We view it as an opportunity for the Valley to go out and find a new partner or new partners, and that is the only way you can look at it," said Bradley director of athletics Michael Cross. "We wish them well in the Big East, but the Valley has to figure out where it wants to go, and Bradley obviously will have a voice in that process."
The MVC has set no timeline to find a replacement for Creighton.
