Economy Boosts In Pekin As Home Sales Are Up

Home sales in recent years have been trending towards the positive according to the Pekin Area Chamber Of Commerce.
They say the average price of a residential home , in 2011, was $105,395.
In 2012, that price increased by 3.9% to $109,673.
Pekin City managers say there was a 6.7% increase in home sales from 2011-12 and that the increase in sale will generate more tax revenue for the local economy.
