Two Area Players Advance in 3-Point Showdown

WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEORIA, Ill. -- East Peoria and Notre Dame will be represented at the boys basketball state tournament Friday.
Notre Dame junior Halston Highfill and East Peoria freshman David Perkins each made ten three-pointers Thursday night and advanced to the finals of the Class 3A Three-Point Showdown.
Highfill and Perkins will join Wheaton Academy's Josh Ruggles and Chatham Glenwood's Craig Fuchs in Friday's finals which will take place at approximately 1:45 p.m., following the first state semifinal at Carver Arena.
