PEORIA - Father Larry Zurek is
weighing in on Pope Francis.
Father Larry serves Peoria's Sacred
Heart Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.
While he was still in Buenos Aires,
Pope Francis used public transportation and made his own meals.
Father Larry said he believes he'll
stay that same way. He said, "He walks the talk. And yesterday, after he was
elected as Pope he didn't take the limousine he rode with the other bishops in
a bus. This morning, he went to pick up his own luggage from the place he was
staying and he paid his own bill. So he's a very down to earth Pope."
Father Larry said he believe the name "Francis" is very fitting.
