Peoria Teen Sentenced for Crime Spree

A Peoria teenager, indicted last year for a Bartonville crime spree, was sentenced Friday to 28 years in prison on three separate cases. 18 year old James Sharp was charged with ten counts of residential burglary for a rash of break ins in Bartonville following a nine month investigation. Sharp was also indicted in connection with two unrelated armed robberies which occurred on December 18th in Peoria. Victims in both cases were robbed of their wallets and cell phones.
