SOUTH PEKIN - A local post office is asking customers to weigh in on its future.
The South Pekin post office is distributing a survey. It asks customers if they'd like the office to stay open with reduced hours, to close and operate out of a local business, to close and move P.O boxes to a nearby post office, or to close and only provide roadside mailbox delivery.
The U.S. Postal Service is facing an uncertain financial future. There's no word on when the South Pekin post office could make a decision.
