Morton Happy With Sectional, Looking to Monday

WMND/WYZZ0TV - MORTON, Ill. -- As happy as Morton is to win another sectional title, the Lady Potters feel as if there's till more work to do.
Morton beat Limestone, 49-41 to caputre the Class 3A Washington sectional title Thursday. And almost immediately starting looking at next week's super-secftional.
"I'm really proud of our team tonight. we came out slow but came through in the end," said Morton junior guard Kate Byrne. "We know we have a tough game, trying to stay focused and work hard in practice. And get better as we need to get."
Morton plays Kankakee Bishoip McNamara in the state quarterfinals at Pontiac on Monday night. The winner goes to state.
