Former ISU Player Sentenced

A former Illinois State University basketball player, indicted last month on two drug charges, pleaded
guilty Friday and was sentenced. Geoffrey Allen pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of marijuana
with intent to deliver while a more serious criminal marijuana conspiracy charge was dropped.
Allen received 30 months probation and two days in jail but given credit for the two days served.
Allen was suspended from the team before his arrested for allegedly violating team rules.
