McLean County Surpasses United Way Goal

United Way of McLean County was celebrating Wednesday night after announcing it surpassed
its goal of $4.35 million, a one percent increase over 2011.
The campaign raised $4,351,038 and will be used to improve the lives of McLean County
residents in education, income and health. Barb Baurer, 2012 Campaign Chair and Country
Financial Chief Operating Officer called the campaign a great accomplishment for the
community. The organization thanked more than 400 businesses and organizations which
hosted workplace campaigns along with dozens of volunteers who volunteered their time and
to those who gave to the campaign.
