Peorian Seeks Murder Trial Moved

One of two Peorians, charged with a May 31st homicide, argued Monday his upcoming trial should be moved out of the area. The attorney for Sergio Herron claimed the recent trial of co defendant Robert Nunn, Junior and publicity regarding the Don't Shoot campaign may hurt Herron's chances at a fair trial. The judge took the request under advisement. Herron was scheduled to go on trial Monday but the judge moved the trial to April. Herron is charged in connection with the slaying of Kelin Drummond who was found in a car in the 2700 block of Latrobe with multiple gunshots.
