Peoria Teenager Convicted of Murder

A Peoria teenager was convicted late Thursday of murdering another Peorian in what prosecutors called a botched drug deal. 19 year old Robert Nunn, Junior was found guilty of murder and armed robbery for the May 31 shooting of Kelin Drummond. Nunn claimed self defense for the city's sixth homicide of the year. Nunn, who could face from 45 years to life in prison, will be sentenced January 31st. Meantime, co defendant, Sergio Herron is due in court to face charges next week.
