Mclean County Salvation Army volunteers are ringing bells louder than ever.
Only three days are left to donate to the Red Kettle Campaign, and the organization still hasn't met its goal.
Salvation Army kettles must raise $220,000 dollars by Christmas Eve.
But there's still $25,000 left to go.
Money collected allows the organization to provide food, shelter and support to the needy.
Bell ringers like James Phillips are getting creative, hoping people give more green.
"You have to be polite, say 'Merry Christmas,' wish them a 'Happy New Year,' and believe me, they'll donate. It's all for a good cause. We do the most good," said Phillips.
Christmas Eve is the last day to donate.
Bell ringers will be out in full force from 10 am till two that day.
