HUDSON -- A Dicken Christmas is a light display in a small McLean County town, but this year, it's giving residents an even bigger show.
Hudson resident Bobby Dicken started the display five years ago. He said usually it's just lights and synchronized sounds, but Wednesday he hosted singer and songwriter Judy Pancoast for a live outdoor concert.
He said he does it to bring holiday cheer to the community. Dicken said, "Glad to see everybody here and those that brought donations for Toys for Tots has been great. It's just a blast. It's a lot of months worth planning all coming together all at once."
Singer Judy Pancoast said, "I have the best sets of any performer out there because everywhere I go, I have all these great Christmas displays so it's wonderful."
The event was free for anyone, who wanted to attend and many brought donations for McLean County's Toys for Tots.
