Bartonville Bank Robbed, Suspect Arrested (UPDATE)

Police say they have now arrested a man who they think robbed Bartonville Bank Wednesday morning. The Bartonville Police Cheif says 30 year old Curtis R. Beeney was arrested after a traffic stop at Airport and Plank Road. Police say around 10:45 Wednesday morning a suspect presented a note demanding money at Bartonville Bank. No weapon was displayed, but the suspect got away with an undetermined amount of cash and fled in a car. Beeney is being held in the Peoria County Jail.
