PEORIA- Families in need will continue to get the help they need with the vote from City Council Tuesday night.
The Dream Center's getting $42,000 in grant money for it's emergency shelter.
It recently took over the YWCA's program and the YWCA used to receive the grant.
With Council's approval, that grant is headed to the Dream Center.
It'll help women into rooms with beds and keep 24 hour staffing.
The Dream Center will apply for the grant again in July.
