BLOOMINGTON - The Salvation Army of McLean County is far from reaching its 2012 fundraising goal.
It is trying to raise $430,000 for services and programs it provides to the homeless and hungry.
But as of Friday, December 7, only $190,000 has been collected.
That total comes from both kettle and mail donations.
The Salvation Army is hoping the campaign will pick up with more seasonal weather expected this week.
