One of two Normal residents, charged in connection with a series of burglaries at Illinois State University, pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary while three other counts were dismissed Friday, according to court officials. 24 year old Jason Harris will be sentenced January 25th. He is alleged to have used a credit card stolen during the ISU break ins. Authorities claim Harris admitted using the stolen credit card but said he was making purchases for Dean Harris. Dean Harris is facing eight counts of burglary for break ins at ISU from August 10th through the 13th at Horton Field House and Stevenson Hall and Fell Hall from November 2nd through the 5th. Dean Harris, who appeared in court Friday, asked for a new judge. His case will be reassigned.
