BPD Investigating Reported Beating, Shooting

BLOOMINGTON - Police are trying to get to the bottom of a reported beating and shooting.
Officers got called to the 900 block of W. Front St. around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
They found a man with injuries consistent with a physical confrontation. Paramedics took the man to the hospital.
Details of his injuries are not available. Police also are not releasing information about the man.
But WMBD 31 can confirm his injuries are not-life threatening and not as serious initially thought.
Officers returned to the same area around 3:30 Wednesday morning for a report of shots fired.
They found no evidence of gunfire at the time, but plan on returning to the scene to investigate.
