Knoxville Woman Pleads Guilty to Provide Alcohol to Minor

A Knoxville woman, accused of providing alcohol to a Gilson teenager whose charged with causing a fatal accident, pleaded guilty Wednesday. 49 year old Jean Lenz pleaded guilty to unlawful delivery of alcohol to a minor, according to court officials. Lenz received 30 days in jail but won't have to serve any jail time if she complies with conditions of her year long probation. She must also serve 80 hours of community service work. Lenz was charged with providing alcohol to 19 year old Jose Beltran, Junior whose charged with reckless homicide and aggravated DUI in connection with the wreck last year which killed 15 year old Brandon Melton of rural Galesburg, a Knoxville High School honor student.
