Train Lovers Gather for Semi-Annual Event

EAST PEORIA -- Train lovers united for the semi-annual Peoria Train Fair.
Hundreds of kids and adults came to the event that is put on by the Peoria Train Club and the River City Model Railroad Club.
Organizer Ronald Brown hopes to have got 500 people through the doors. He said the fair continues to grow, and if you're new, there is plenty of ways to start learning about trains.
Brown said, "Well there's good books and magazines and they can start with if they want to read up on or look at the book and go from there into the modeling, just to see what's here like I said, there is that running layout they can observe."
The next Train Fair will be held in February.
