BLOOMINGTON- Vendors and holiday shoppers filled the U.S. Cellular Coliseum Saturday for the Thanksgiving Farmers Market.
It started four years ago when people wanted a farmers market indoors where people could buy fresh veggies and other items for their holiday meals. Many farmers are still growing produce at this time of year, especially things like pumpkin and squash.
The farmers market manager, Marisa Brooks said people can even get a little cooking help.
"You know there's just so many things offered here so, you know they might buy something that tastes good and realize. I could do something like that. Or I would do it this way. So a lot of the vendors offer recipes to go with the things that they're selling," Brooks said.
There were even some homemade baked treats for market goers to buy. A sweet ending to any holiday meal.
