PEORIA - Loyal 'Twilight' fans packed theaters Thursday for the final installment of the teeth-sinking film series.

'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part Two' broke into movie theatres at 10 p.m. Thursday. Hundreds of pre-teens and their parents flocked to the movies in their team Jacob and Edward gear.

Some "Twihards" lounged inside local theaters for an all day movie marathon, prior to the big premiere.

Many fans said  the peculiar love story connects viewers of all ages.

"I took the whole day off for this, well half day off for this, so yea. I've loved every minute of it. It's like Christmas for me," said parent and fan Rhonda Morris.

"There's not many things that you can bond with your teenage daughter. So if it's Twilight, then it's Twilight," said parent Kim Sparks.
