PEORIA- A Peoria man, arrested during drug raids last spring, changed
his plea in Peoria federal court Tuesday to guilty on a charge of
possession with intent to distribute cocaine. He'll be sentenced in
March. Darnell Moore II was one of several men rounded up last spring in
nearly simultaneous raids as part of Operation Blue Horse. That's a new
joint federal state program to crack down on drug trafficking on Peoria
streets. A second man, 30 year old Gregory Sanford is back in court
next month.
