Bank Robbery Suspect Sentenced in Peoria

PEORIA- A Springfield man, who has served time for robbery before, was
sentenced in Peoria federal court for five bank robberies in the past
year, four of which occurred in April of 2011. Adam Taylor Wright is
sentenced to a total of 9 years ., including two years for breaking
probation on another case, and must serve 85 percent of the sentence.
Wright admitted to robbing three banks in Central Illinois and two in
Southern Illinois, including South Side Bank in Peoria, and two days
later the Busey Bank in Pekin. He must also pay 37 thousand dollars in
restitution once he is released from prison.
