Three Twin City Men Charged in Weekend Shooting

BLOOMINGTON- Three Twin City men were formally charged Tuesday with a
weekend shooting in which one person was critically wounded. 20 year old
Ross Johnson of Normal is charged with attempted murder, home invasion
and aggravated battery with a firearm. His brother, 19 year old Malcolm
Johnson is charged with home invasion and aggravated battery while a
third man, 21 year old Dartaeveon Miles of Bloomington is charged with
two counts of obstructing justice. The trio is charged in connection
with a shooting which left two people hospitalized with multiple gunshot
wounds. Ross Johnson is being held on a million dollar bond while his
brother's bond was set at a half million dollars. Police believe the
shooting occurred after a group was asked to leave a party, words were
exchanged and shots were fired.
