Dream Center Needs $15K for Back Pack Initiative

PEORIA- Dream Center Peoria needs your help. It needs you to help it take action for local students.
Last year, Dream Center and District 150 schools gave away 2,200 back packs, school supplies and medical exams as part of the Back Pack Peoria initiative..
This year, they're handing out 3,500 back-packs. Caterpillar has helped out, but the center still needs $15,000.
"Last year, we ran out of bags. This year we bought more hoping we don't run out, but that's why the need is so great. And that's why we need the community to step up," said DCP director Andy King.
Back Pack Peoria is on July 28th at Dream Center Peoria.
There are a few ways you can donate. You can drop off money at at the Dream Center Peoria office in downtown Peoria. Or you can donate at Berean Christian Store at 801 West Lake Ave. in Peoria.
You can also visit and donate on Dream Center's web site, at www.dreamcenterpeoria.org.
