U S Cellular Coliseum Draws 100,000 Visitors

Bloomington's U S Cellular Coliseum brought in over 100,000 visitors for the second consecutive quarter, according to a release Friday. Concerts, including hot country act Eric Church, high school sports tournaments, and three minor league sports tenants all contributed to a cumulative attendance of 100,896 from 56 events at the Coliseum from February through April. As attendance numbers grew, the Coliseum fell just short of financial goals. The unaudited net operating loss in the fourth fiscal quarter was $16,720.
