BLOOMINGTON-A teacher will say his final good-byes to a place he's worked with for more than 30 years.

Ed Storrs is retiring after 38 years of teaching at Oakland Elementary School in Bloomington.

He teaches science and language arts to 4th graders at the school.

Storrs says he will miss interacting with students and staff. He says he's looking forward to some rest and relaxation.

Fourth Grade teacher, Ed Storrs says, "I'm excited about it. My health is good. I'm not going out cynical. Time is more precious than money and I'm going to utilize some time in different ways."

Storrs last day of teaching is May 23rd. But his teaching days aren't behind him. He plans to maybe teach English overseas in France.
