PEORIA-Two children
allegedly abducted by their non-custodial mother yesterday are safe tonight.
20-year old Nyway Abbaa
was arrested in Minneapolis last night.
She was stopped by an
officer who recognized her car as the one listed in an Amber
Alert that was put out
by authorities in Illinois shortly after the children were reportedly taken
from family core counseling center in Peoria.
Meantime, police say
the children, 1-year old Moriah Milan and 2-month old Audemare Peterson were
taken a Minneapolis Hospital for treatment of fevers.
Police say upon release from that
hospital, they'll go into protective custody.
